My Missifuz

I have a great pets, my cat. your name is Missifuz, she is very beautiful. missi is very loving,affectionate, with all the people, above all with me. Missifuz came home posing as the daughter of a cat that was my sister, that cat was called "pluma". after a while, taking account we conclude that missi was too big to be the daughter of my sister's cat, but in any way we were with her.

Green

Hello, today I will talk about environmental care. I am a person who likes the natural, so I worry about

caring for the environment and living beings.
I think most people learn about the environment through television, internet, videos, magazines and advertisements.There are NGOs that promote environmental care, as Green Peace, Compromiso Eco, Ecos de la Naturaleza, etc.
For a while I was recycling boxes "Tetrapack", this idea came to my housemates, because many people live and gather many boxes and not good throwing them away. To pollute less, I try not to spend so much water. My showers the performed faster and when I wash my clothes trying to conserve water.
Another activity that occasionally realize, is going to college cycling, this helps me to maintain my fitness, but also contribute environmental care. I would like that Santiago had many bike paths, because when we go with our bikes down the street is very dangerous.
I would like to participate in an organization that helps the environment, to learn about care I can give to nature. I also would that in Chile there is a culture of respect for the environment, because people are usually dirty, we throw all our trash on the ground.
When was the case Hidroaysen all Chile joined to fight for our environment, but usually there are instances where people can express their discontent and contribute to a culture change.
All we must do something to change the damage we have done to the environment.
I feel responsible to do something, I hope you do too.

A great friend

Hello everybody , this time I would like to tell you about a great friend of mine, my cousin. Her name is Luna and is 18 years old. She is a great person , we’ve been through many things togethe. It’s always great to have a friend who you can trust and Luna is that friend . She is a very sociable person, loves to dance, sing karaoke and basically enjoy life. She is always filled with so many things to do, but whenever I need her, she doesn’t hesitate to be there for me. We love each other very much. She always talking to her friends about her mother's family. We both love our family because each member is a true animated movie character .

Currently, Luna is studying at the University of Chile and as we study at the same campus we have shared several lunches together which makes me very happy. Recently I had a sad day and called my cousin, she told me she would meet me and so, went to eat ice cream while telling her all my sorrows. Sometimes it is important to have a good friend around, especially if your friend is also your cousin , because as she knows my whole life , it allows me to skip several explanations when I have to tell a story .

In the photo below you can see me along Luna, who is disguised as a character from the series "El chavo del 8". This is the favorite series is our cousin Adita, she has Down Syndrome. She and her 15 years old cousin dance and sing the songs in the series.

"How language transformed humanity"

Evolutionary biology is a concerned with the study of the evolutionary processes that produced the diversity of life on Earth. In this presentation Mark Pagel (a professor and head of the Bioinformatics Laboratory at the University of Reading) to talks about  "How language transformed humanity". Mark Pagel in this short exposition states that the human being  have gone for different evolution stages.his theory about why humans evolved their complex system of language. I think that language is a very complex action. I think that being the language a social action, is probably that Mark Pagel be right, when he affirm  that language is a piece of "social technology" that allowed early human tribes to access the cooperation. 

The language is very important for me, as much for speak gushingly if for write. Although I think we also talk with our silence, I think that language is one of human inventions as essential as air to live. With respect to the language in my Chilean identity, I think that language is a very important cultural component since even though we all speak in Spanish, different words and contexts deal-associated-rich Latin American culture and we grant a particular identity.

I think these types of studies are very important to give different answers to questions about the history and process complexity of societies. I hope all of you enjoyed it as much as me!

The national holiday

In my opinion, there are different perspectives to think about what makes a person being Chilean. Now I'm going to talk about these.

First, according to the legal perspective, Chilean is anyone born in Chile. In order to the culture perspective, be "Chilean" is a issue very complex, because it means an identity matter (e.g. to me, be a chilean woman gives me a root, and allows me to feel like I'm part of a culture, of a group, etc.) According to the lore, I think is very unfortunate that the deepest traditions in our society, are rooted by the dominant culture (specially when political goals play a crucial role). Is precisely these "customs" presented as "folklore" that are expressed in the national holidays, I think that's the reason about why we play kite flying, but not palin.

Thinking about answers for this final question "Which elements of our culture should be celebrated?" in my opinión, whether we hope to avoid the mistakes of consider just a minority, it would be interesting to ask each person, what elements are most important in your daily living?

Finally, I think a day will come when the true national holiday will not be rid of the Spanish crown, but to be rid of capitalist imperialism, when culture identifies us all, because we build all. I think that day if you celebrate a great national holiday.

The country

My favorite place is the country.  My family and I go every summer to my the grandmother´s house in San Carlos near Chillan, is a little village called Chacay. I go with my cousins ​​to the mountain of Pines, we ingenious adventures among the trees. I very enjoy be there, the country is magical. I take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way in order to go, although only I go in the summer specifically in February. 

I prefer the country because  is a place where you can connect with the natural world, with the tree, the bird, the flowers, the animals, the earth, the green country, with the stones form, with the fabulous sky (above everything in the night) when the sky is riddled for starts. Definitely  the country is magical! In Chacay we go every night to walk looking at the stars, we walking until the little plaza of village. There you can find metal´s games for do physical exercise, as if that wasn't enough  too you can find other games  if not want  do physical exercise you can swing, play in the  teeter-totter or play in the caterpillar metal.

In the grandmother's family have lived the most beautiful moments I can remember. If one day pass for San Carlos invite you to visit my grandmother field, surely fascinate them.

New Semester

About my experience with English III (in the past year, the first semester)  in terms of learning and in terms of achievements, I felt this course of study is a torture for me, I never understand this language (probably they noticed) nevertheless I have to learn, and still more important I want learn English, is a personal achievements.About this new semester I feel fear of fail my class because this is difficult for me, and I cannot take english class before, , for this cause, now I must of necessity approve, for not stay back. Honestly I would put everything in my power to make this new semester comes learning much more English than I know so far. I hope to start well! and the whole class desire to learn a lot!
